Hello Lovelies ♡
It is the end of October already! I can’t believe it! But coming to the end of the month means one thing… It’s time for “My October Favourites”. YAY! What does this mean? I will be reviewing my top 5 products that I used this month, in no particular order. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and how you feel about them in the comments below.
Clinique’s “”take the day off cleansing balm”.
This product is a good place to start! If you know me, you will know I am a total fan of most Clinique products. They have done such wonders for my skin. So, when I saw all of the hype that was surrounding Clinique’s newer products in the “take the day off” range, I knew I had to get my hands on one.
I am so glad I did! Clinique’s “take the day off cleansing balm” is a lightweight makeup remover and It works so well! The consistency resembles coconut oil. You just take some product and begin rubbing it on your face and it begins melting away all of your makeup, it even gets to that tough mascara. It might not take off all of the mascara but it definitely takes most of it off.P.S. Don’t wet you face first.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Mist
Why do I love this so much? Well, it is so refreshing! It enhances and hydrates your skin. This is a must if you are struggling with dull, dry skin. It honestly makes your skin glow! I was going through a bad patch recently where I had this weird dry rash on one side of my face. I don’t know where it came from, but it was sore and my skin felt like sandpaper. I tried all kinds of thick creams and moisturizers and nothing. Then I found the product again. I began using it and within 5 days, the rash was gone. I highly recommend this product! I honestly felt and could see the difference. I haven’t tried any other products they have in their Vitamin C collection yet but I can’t wait to!
L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask
I have been hearing a lot of positive things about charcoal lately. That it helps alleviate bloating, it acts as an emergency toxin removal, it is used in skin and body health to treat body odour and acne.
So, when L’Oreal came out with their Clay Detox Mask (which contains charcoal) I had to try it. The Charcoal and clay act as a magnet and draw out your impurities. What I also like about this product is that it doesn’t dry out your skin. You can also see the product sink into your pores as it begins cleaning them out.
L’Oreal Revitalift Magic Blur Eye Cream
The cream itself feels amazing to apply, it’s so silky smooth and leaves my eyes feeling refreshed. The bottle is also amazing! It is super fancy looking, plus the tubing is harder
Rain’s Aloe Therapy Hand Lotion
This is hands down (sorry for the pun) my favourite hand cream at the moment!
It is so hydrating and moisturising and the consistency is very light, it doesn’t make you feel like you have sticky hands. The thing I love most about it though is its fragrance! OMG! So good! Apparently the smell has to do with a combination of roses, geranium that is found in the Cape Malva, a unique fynbos plant, neroli and lime oil. You can check out more about this product on ‘Rain’s” website. I went to have a read about their products and they provide so much helpful information on their products, so totally go and check it out!
There it is… My October Favorites. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below!
Until Next Time
See you soon
