Hello Fashion Loving Travallures
In today’s post, we are talking about fashion travel trends that are taking the globe by storm. I began to notice these trends in Thailand, saw them grow in Bali and my fabulous friends have even been rocking these looks all over Europe too. Let’s begin from head to toe.
1. The Hair Scarf
There is something so chic and glamourous about a hair scarf. It makes me think of Bridgitte Bardot’s famous use of headscarves in the 1950s.
A hair scarf to me is almost a more laid back version of the headscarves worn by many stylish women back then. It adds a timeless elegance to any updo hairstyle.
Not only is the hair scarf timeless but effortless. You don’t have to worry about spending hours perfecting the perfect hairstyle, the hair scarf does the work for you and adds a unique touch to your look.

2. Clear Sunglasses
Clear or transparent sunnies. Now I am not sure how these bad boys actually protect your eyes from the sun but they do look super chic and minimalistic. The perfect understated accessory.

3. The Wrap Top
This design is perfect for any type of traveller. Its design is really flattering and highlights your waist, giving you a slimmer appearance and is suitable for any body shape. If you are able to tie the wrap top yourself, you also have the ability to create your own v neck shape. You can go tighter or looser depending on the look you are going for.

4. Mini Tent Dress / Smock Dress
This is a trend I am currently loving. A tent dress is very wide as it flows down from the shoulders, giving off no definite shape to the body. However, it is flowy, light and comfortable. Perfect for the hot and humid weather in Southeast Asia!

5. Button-Down Dress
The classic and edgy button-down dress, a summer staple that should definitely make it into your wardrobe this upcoming summer. These dresses provide both the business with the straight structure of the dress and button detailing and can provide the party with the use of some spaghetti straps and bright colours!

6. Sneakers Matched with a Floral Spring Dress
All of the tomboys have finally influenced a generation of girly girls. Wearing some comfortable sneakers with your cute, lightweight, flowy spring dress is all the rage. Also incredibly practical for travelling! Nobody wants a slippery saddle while climbing up a mountain.
The Tom Boy Girly Girl
These rope-soled shoes can be super casual and practical during the day and a pair of espadrille wedge sandals can also be a super chic option to add to your semi-formal wardrobe or help to tone a formal look down.

8. Woven Bag
Let’s talk trend of the century! The Woven Bag!
I had seen the trend of woven bags arrive and had seen some of my favourite bloggers sporting the look. I, myself, decided to get one.
Then I visited Bali, more specifically Ubud, where they sell these at every second market store and let me tell you every single girl has one!
The simple woven bag is available in a variety of styles from round, square, basket, tote you name it. This bag doesn’t have time to conceal keys, trinkets, gym clothes, sweaters, or tissue boxes. Rather, it is simple and represents freedom and a vacation-styled lifestyle.
